Mr. Basha Hifato
Mr. Basha Hifato is a seasoned leader with over 20 years of experience in Africa’s development sector. His extensive network spans across Africa, North America, and Europe, positioning him as a key figure in advancing the vision and reach of Baraka Gold Mines (Pvt) Ltd. As Director, Mr. Hifato provides strategic oversight and drives the company’s responsible expansion throughout the African continent.
Mr. Bashir Hussein
Mr. Bashir Hussein is an accomplished financial management professional with extensive experience across the service industry. As the current Managing Director of the Sahan Group of Companies in East Africa and Turkey, he brings strong leadership and deep financial expertise to the board of Baraka Gold Mines (Pvt) Ltd. Mr. Hussein has a proven track record in financial auditing, budgeting, and strategic fiscal planning. He holds an MBA from Lincoln University College in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

With over 35 years of experience in exploration and mining, Mr. Ackert brings a wealth of technical and strategic knowledge to Baraka Gold Mines (Pvt) Ltd. He has played a key role in multiple mineral discoveries across Canada and Africa, working with both major and junior mining companies. His expertise also includes executive leadership and management of publicly listed companies on the Toronto Venture Exchange, making him a valuable asset to the company’s growth and governance.
